Hometown Family Restaurant in Marinette

Excellent food, great value, friendly staff. My family and I stopped in to Hometown while vacationing. Everyone in our party of 5 found something good to eat. There is quite a variety on the menu, a little bit of something for everyone. The portion sizes were generous, everything was cooked to order and cooked very well. I had an omelette, and it was nothing shy of amazing. My child ate more than he usually does, and that says alot! The coffee was very good. Most importantly, the staff was very friendly. Would absolutely recommend Hometown to anyone.

Food is homemade and delicious. Homemade root beer is delicious.

Had steak and eggs. Eggs and Hasbrowns were done perfect. Steak was good. Would like to see less grizzle on the steak though.

Took us an hour to get our food while watching other people who got there like 45 minutes after we did get their food first. Most of the staff was nice but some was incredibly rude. Will not be returning.

Had a really good fish sandwich along with friendly service. Definitely would recommend coming here.

We sat waiting for our food and then got the bill waaaaaay too long and they werent even at capacity. But the food was good. Maybe it was just an off day for them?

The wait staff were terrific, friendly and attentive. The restaurant was well maintained. The food was good, but basic with little seasoning. The meals were filling and reasonably priced.

This place was hopping on a Sunday morning. It's pretty cozy, just about exactly what you might expect from seeing it from the outside or honestly just the sign. They've got a fair number of options, with lots of weekday specials. There was a $8.95 buffet ($4.95 for kids) but my husband and I opted for the skillets. I didn't take a picture until I had already eaten half of mine, so it was a generous amount of food. The tater tots were absolutely perfect. The bread was good, and I the ratios of veggies/potatoes/eggs/gravy were just right.We've been meaning to come here for breakfast since we moved to town 4 months ago, and it's definitely going to be on our short list of places to go back to.

The Staff is the best! Never run out of water or coffee and the portions, well I took half of mine home. The gentleman knew I was on a motorcycle and went the extra mile to get a plastic bag for me, was a good thing because the container leaked a bit. I will be back in short order..... Thank you!
